About – Jesús Odremán

I learned Film Editing in 1992 in Venezuela, with the Andalusian editor José Garrido Cruz, and I was trained in Moviola with 35 mm. film, and since then I have been an editor by trade and vocation.

I have worked as editor and post producer in documentaries, making VFX, composing, color grading, DCP facilities; and I have coordinated post-production of fiction, documentary, and 3D animation feature films

As a DSRL videographer I have produced documentaries, short films, and today with my Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K «Furiosa» I am producing documentaries in which I do research on color management for digital cinema.
In post-production, I have specialized in incorporating free, open source software into my workflows, some of which have been post-produced on Linux workstations. I have explored animation with Blender and artistic photogrammetry with MeshRoom. My color processes culminate in DaVinci Resolve Studio.
